Description:

50 daily wage worker families, who cut and load firewood, from Panikkankulam GS, Mullaitivu, who have been badly impacted by lockdown and travel restrictions imposed due to COVID-19, are in dire need of support.  


How you can help

We hope to provide each family with a pack of dry rations, amounting to Rs. 2000, which should be able to tide them over for 1.5-2 weeks. The pack will comprise rations such as rice, dhal, cooking oil, soya, soap, tea, sugar, milk powder and biscuits for kids. A member of the community will purchase, distribute and report back us, and we will in turn update all donors thereafter.

Transparency:

100% of your donations will go towards the purchase of dry ration for this community. All payment slips, bills/receipts and pictures of distribution will be sent to all donors via Charity Apple.
